TRANSFORMING SOCIETY
THROUGH GASTRONOMY

The VIII annual meeting of the international council of the Basque Culinary Center, formed by some of the best chefs in the world, will be hosted by Massimo Bottura in Modena on July 24th.

For this annual meeting, chef members of the international council will be joined by artists, writers, film-makers and scientists, at the Collegio San Carlo and under the name “Transforming Society through Gastronomy” they hold a symposium to discuss the power of ideas, the strength of culture, the impact of science, the influence of art and they will address the way gastronomy has become a social movement.

This event, organised by the Basque Culinary Center and Osteria Francescana, will end with the announcement of the winner of the Basque Culinary World Prize, a unique and global award created by the Basque Government and Basque Culinary Center, for chefs transforming society through gastronomy.
